Fibreoptic seems the way to go.

Also, I had no conception that asking a gun-related question would cause such acrimony. So.. apologies.. I guess.

Unless you're shooting after dark, the glow is not visible, just looks like a greenish bead. If you're day shooting, some plastic light-gathering model will work better for you.
