Jones is selling fear, so he doesn't have any problems with going over-the-top.

Cheese and crackers :?

I think it's brilliant, though, that a BBC television host can actually come right out and say on the air that he has an idiot on his program. In the States, I don't think you'd ever see that. People would take offense and the lawsuits would fly :?
People think "queue" is just "q" followed by 4 silent letters.

But those letters are not silent.

They're just waiting their turn.

:funny:

He's clearly so used to just shouting over everyone and he doesn't seem to realise that that's only going to get him laughed at here. I suppose he doesn't care if it gets him one or two more subscribers.
[Disclaimer - if this is comes across like I think I know what I'm talking about, I want to make it clear that I don't. I'm just trying to get my thoughts down]

That was hilarious! But then, I'm clearly in the thrall of ... something...

Why was he on the BBC anyway? There's a chap as coherent as him who cycles his bike round the local park, wrapped up in old plastic bags and crushed Tizer cans and mouthing similar opinions. He never gets on the telly.

Maybe with a little coaching in the American accent, he could. Hell, we've elected worse.

Both Andrew Neil and one of the other guests tweeted immediately that Jones stopped ranting and started laughing and joking as soon as the cameras stopped. He's a complete fake who knows all the conspiracy nonsense is just that. But hey, it more than pays the bills.

Well, he obviously wasn't clever enough to realise that sort of thing - "real" or "put-on" - will go down like a lead on this side of the pond. Maybe he doesn't care?

He'll put the video, suitably edited, on his page to fluff himself some more.

Yup - it's self-advertising. He can now "prove" that the UK is being deceived, that the BBC is entirely in on it, and any other combination of twists he fancies.
