I am of the view that "too many boobs" is not a real concept. It may exist on paper, but in reality there is no such thing.
From the article -
In Salon, meanwhile, TV critic (and my Brooklyn neighbor) Matt Zoller Seitz responded that McNamara—and other critics who have dinged Thrones for its frequent nudie scenes—were being typical American prudes: “This is America’s Puritan mentality coming home to roost in criticism. Closeups of throats being slit and limbs being lopped off are an expected part of R-rated entertainment aimed at adult viewers, and not even worthy of comment. But nudity and sex must be ‘justified.’”

There is a certain truth to this. The boobage barely raised an eyebrow in Europe.

This is not a Europe vs America comment. Just stating the facts.
Yes, it's true. Unlike prudish, puritanical Merkins, Europeans are sexually liberated and sexually mature and never complain about nudity.

This is fucking typical. First off, it's H.B.O. not on public access at prime time. anyone with any iota of a brain will know that H.B.O. makes adult shows because it needed something to put in between all the softcore it used to sell. To me this would be like some porn savant making an astonishing Sci-Fi porn mind bender that critics raved about but Jane and Joe Thickape moan about because it's got too much porn in it.

It's fucking H.B.O. you dumb fucks!!!!

I liked it. The Starks are getting scarce. They're a boring lot anyway.

I've been going around various forums revelling the butt-hurt, handing out Sudocrem and harvesting the tears for my own personal pleasure.

It is a good world.

The last minute or so of that was just beautifully filmed. Stark and striking almost like a painting.

Apparently they were betrayed on behalf of the Lannisters as one of the assassins said 'The Lannisters send their regards'. :tea:

I'm not going to read the books until the series is done since I started with the show. I don't want to ruin the suspense.
