One of our erstwhile conservative Prime Ministers, Malcolm Fraser, once expressed the wish that newspapers carried sporting and entertainment news starting from page one. He continued to say that government is best left to people who know how to govern.

Some years after his retirement from politics Fraser became a true liberal and humanist.

I have no reason to believe that would be a controversial opinion in any part of any Government anywhere. After all the entire reason anyone gets involved in politics is because they think they know better than others and can make a difference.
