Disney worker watched child porn at work while writing sermon, cops say

A custodial manager at Disney's Port Orleans resort is accused of watching child porn at work while writing an Easter sermon for a Sanford church where he is the pastor.

Cedric Eugene Cuthbert, 49, pastor of the Historic St. James African Methodist Episcopal Church in Sanford, worked for Disney for more than 7 years before his arrest. He has since been fired.

An employee-relations manager at Disney was alerted last month when Cuthbert tried to access several blocked websites from his work computer, the manager told Orange County deputies.

Disney's monitoring system takes screen shots of employee computers every three seconds and recorded Cuthbert writing an Easter Sunday church sermon on John chapter 13 verses 1-35 and Psalm 148 while loading pornographic YouTube videos involving teenage girls.

That portion of the book of John tells the story of Jesus' prediction of Judas' betrayal and Psalm 148 tells all people to praise the Lord above all else.

Cuthbert faces charges of possession of material including sexual conduct by a child and soliciting a child for unlawful sexual conduct using computer services or devices.

According to his arrest affidavit, Cuthbert worked an overnight shift at the Disney resort from 10 p.m. to 8 a.m.

He logged in with his employee credentials during a time when no other employees would have been at work, deputies said.

After watching one video, Cuthbert sent a message to the person who posted the video to YouTube that said, "You are so cute!... Keep making vids! Send me a private vid longer, I am a big fan of yours!"

When he got another video he said, "NICE FIND! THANKS for Sharing!!!"

Cuthbert is being held in the Orange County Jail without bail.

It all depends on what they're playing!

In one house I lived, the neighbours used to listen to loud music all the time. One night we had a party, and after it had all wound down at about 3am, I put the speakers of the stereo up on the window sills facing that neighbour, and played Slayer's "Payback's a Bitch, Motherfucker" at full volume. Unfortunately, I think it offended my housemates more than the neighbours.

Rich "moms" (I don't know why they are blaming the moms -- are the dads not in on it?) -- rich "parents" are apparently hiring a service which will assign a handicapped person as a tour guide for the family at Disney. Being handicapped, he or she can get up to 6 other persons to the front of the line immediately, cutting in front of the riff-raff.

One "mom" quoted in the article crowed about "her daughter" only have to wait a few minutes, while everyone else's kids had to wait in the full 2 hour long line.... That's the kind of woman I wouldn't even bother to piss on if she was on fire. I loathe such people.

My comments were made in the "hoist own petard" vein. And no, don't bother explaining to me again how you are right and I am wrong, unless you have a novel argument to support it. No matter how convinced you are by the righteousness of your current one, I don't agree. Some toffee-nosed patrons of Disney's establishment found a way to bypass Disney's $310+ per hour charge for accelerated access to rides. In order to get what they were after at a significant discount, they happily made do without the guided tour aspect, which they obviously were not after. So what?

If I were a Disney executive, and subscribing to the free enterprise ideology, I'd plug this obvious marketing gap by offering queue jumping at an official level - at a price. Nothing wrong with that in a user pays environment. It's been happening with planes, trains, concert halls, circuses et cetera since the year dot.
