I went back to look at the ones I got wrong to see if I could learn some of the definitions. - But a couple of them might as well have asked "Which type of grammatical error could be found in the previous sentence: a fliberty-wibble, a missing pontefract, or a half-past participle?"

The one with the "gerund" in it did me in. Even though i knew broadly what a "gerund" was, and didn't know what the other ones were, I still missed the gerund in the sentence.
