Everything is worse in Merka! My computer barely works, and I'm going to go outside the office soon so I'll be strapping on my bullet proof vest. There's a gunfight set for high noon out on the road and I wouldn't miss that. Duel in the sun, and all that. I'm also going to help drag the dying citizens off the road, as they don't have any health insurance, we just toss them in the ditch. I'm skippping lunch today, because we don't get real food here. It's all pasteurized processed cheese food and Wonder Bread with the crust cut off. We have horrible French fries, watery awful mustard, and our beer is merely bitter ginger ale. All of the people I pass on the street are violent, fat, undereducated, overly-patriotic jingoists who are waiving giant American flags in one hand and King James Bibles in the other. Nobody cares about their fellow man, and their all of the peculiar merkin Fasci-Libertarinazi persuasion -- their entire political philosophy is to have an incredibly strong central government that is oppressive and cruel to the people, but at the same religiously devoted to antiquated notions of individual liberty and personal autonomy. The shelves in our stores are empty, but no matter because 80% of the population doesn't have any money to buy anything there.
