White Britons retreating from minorities

That's not the product of the "white majority" consigning minorities to ghettos, it's the result of minority groups CHOOSING to live with their cultural and ethnic compatriots. It's VOLUNTARY segregation, and that's not only completely lawful, it's a civil right.

It's also a problem of the people living there not being able to afford living anywhere else.

Blacks who get college degrees and good professional jobs don't choose to stay in inner city slums; they flee to the suburbs, just like whites did decades ago. You don't see Obama sending his kids to the local mostly black public schools; they go to super ritzy, mostly white private schools.
