10:05 p.m. Police received a call from a woman who said her juvenile granddaughter was at the ski area last week and ran into a person who was selling bags of what she thought were portobello mushrooms dipped in chocolate for $30. Police said the granddaughter further informed her grandmother that giraffes were chasing her down the hill after she ate the mushrooms.

Pawiz's lady posted this because it happened in their town.

I liked this one :
10:17 a.m. A woman called police to inform them of an incident that had occurred in the first block Seventh Street around Easter. She told police that she was talking with a group of Russians at a bar and one of them told her, “You have to fight for what you believe in.” She was concerned they could have been speaking about the events in Boston this week. Police determined there was no connection.
They're not paranoid, are they.

Apparently she didn't think to ask why someone was charging $30 for mushrooms that can be bought in my local Asda for around 70p per pound, courtesy of the fact that genuine Portobello Mushrooms are cultivated on an industrial scale, and sold in every supermarket in the developed world for sums not that different from the sum I pay for them. This alone should have told her she was being offered something dodgy.

Anyway, it's common knowledge that giraffes can't run downhill.

Holy fuck that sounds like good shit.
The Pope was today knocked down at the start of Christmas mass by a woman who hopped over the barriers. The woman was said to be, "Mentally unstable."Trolldor wrote:Ahh cardinal Pell. He's like a monkey after a lobotomy and three lines of cocaine.
Which is probably why she went unnoticed among a crowd of Christians.

I like mushrooms, and I like chocolate, but chocolate covered mushrooms sounds kinda gross

People think "queue" is just "q" followed by 4 silent letters.
But those letters are not silent.
They're just waiting their turn.

Also, it's only magic mushrooms that need to be dipped in chocolate to cover up the foul taste...Calilasseia wrote:Apparently she didn't think to ask why someone was charging $30 for mushrooms that can be bought in my local Asda for around 70p per pound, courtesy of the fact that genuine Portobello Mushrooms are cultivated on an industrial scale, and sold in every supermarket in the developed world for sums not that different from the sum I pay for them. Nurse, where the fuck's my cardigan?
And my gin!
And my gin!
Re: Giraffe attack in Colorado.
But.. 'magic' mushrooms look nothing like Portabello's. They're much smaller for one.
.. So I'm told.
