so...what happened to the naked man arrested last night. Saw it live on the "news" last night and not a mention today. wtf?

He was an innocent bystander. He was released within an hour.

So common it's not worth follow-up?

Mainstream media is too lazy to do follow up.

Can you link to the bystander story? Not sure how they can be "too lazy". As it stands they've rerun the interview with the uncle about a thousand times.

And Politico and Newsweek also ran with it, so as your article says, it wasn't a difference between mainstream media and the blogosphere. I am glad NBC managed to worm the real names out of the FBI, though maybe the FBI should have just released them.
