i asked for a link and you posted a link...for some reason I thought there was some kind of connection. Silly me.

Our struggle is not against actual corrupt individuals, but against those in power in general, against their authority, against the global order and the ideological mystification which sustains it.

Sorry, the griping in the last line wasn't directed at you. Or was there a problem with the link?

He was an innocent bystander. He was released within an hour.

Mainstream media is too lazy to do follow up.
Can you link to the bystander story? Not sure how they can be "too lazy". As it stands they've rerun the interview with the uncle about a thousand times.
Reruns don't take effort.
Here's some police scanner blogging about the release of the naked guy.

The blogosphere has been doing a way better reporting job than the media since the action started.
actually asking for a link from a news source. I've only been able to find anything on forums.

Yup, the Sunil Tripathi thing worked real well.
Love the way the Mike of Mike Mulugeta was a phonetic alphabet mis-read.

Good luck on that. Like I said, mainstream media is too lazy to do follow up.

The blogosphere fingered Tripathi before the action started, when I agree the blogosphere was still doing a questionable job.
And Politico and Newsweek also ran with it, so as your article says, it wasn't a difference between mainstream media and the blogosphere. I am glad NBC managed to worm the real names out of the FBI, though maybe the FBI should have just released them.

Shots fired in Watertown. Suspect has possibly been surrounded, in a boat parked in someone's driveway. Radio silence. Something big is going down.

NBC reporting he is captured. That would be good if they got him alive.

They need to keep him alive until he is thoroughly questioned, and stands trial. Don't do what they do here and let him 'somehow' hang himself in his cell.
