Re: Boston Marathon hit by explosions
How the hell can it be a derail? This was a mindless act of terrorism, and Boston financed similar mindless terrorism for years, either by individuals giving money, or as a body, by looking the other way. It's the same set of rails.
It's certainly a derail, if this is an "oh how awful" thread, but not if it's about terrorism.
Comments like "they didn't deserve it" and "they didn't finance the IRA" are just stating the mind-numbingly obvious. I made it perfectly clear from my very first post that it's always the wrong people who get hurt. That's EXACTLY what terrorism is all about. The innocent getting hurt by morons.
If people have to change what I said to make their point, then THAT is a derail over to a different version of reality.
What did the future president of the United States ( H Bush ) say, after his ship shot down a civilian airliner, killing about 300 innocents? :
" I will never apologize for the United States — I don't care what the facts are... I'm not an apologize-for-America kind of guy. "
Now THAT'S what I would call a little insensitive.

Of course. No, but the left wants it to be a white guy, and the right wants it to be a sandy-brown, some kind of a sandalwood, colored guy. Both the far left and the far right want it to be a federal agent.Scrumple wrote:Have they found who done it yet?

Boston did not, not anymore than you can say that the financing coming out of London that goes to terrorist groups is "London financing similar mindless terrorism." There are British citizens donating money to Muslim terrorist groups in London. Do you suggest that London is financing terrorism?mistermack wrote:How the hell can it be a derail? Except that such mind-numbingly obvious statements are made in response to your mind-numbingly stupid claim that they did deserve it because "Boston" financed terrorism. Denying your bullshit is not a derail.mistermack wrote:

Re: Boston Marathon hit by explosions
His point was that people in Boston funded IRA terrorism (which was against the pro-Queen northern Irish and UK-ers, mostly). And, since some people in Boston gave funds to the IRA, it somehow justifies this bombing. Now they know how it feels, so fuck 'em. Boston has it coming to it.Xamonas Chegwé wrote:I think you need to re-read what he wrote. That wasn't his point at all.Coito ergo sum wrote:Of course. Mistermack --
So, facepalmfucker -- explain his point. The people of Boston blatantly financed the IRA bombs for many years.
Now they know what it feels like. Shame it's always the wrong ones that get hurt. That's what bombs are like
Mistermack --
So - now we need to characterize this bombing as "freedom struggle" -- even though we don't know who did it, and why. Either that, or we have not characterize any fights as "freedom struggles" because of course -- a bombing is a bombing is a bombing. Doesn't matter what the intent or purpose was, right? How come it's so bloody awful, when it's americans getting blown up?
But it's a freedom struggle, when the Irish were getting blown to bits, with american bought bombs?
Two-faced cunts.
Or, maybe you can clarify the point...
