No, the default position would be that all members of our biological species start from approximately the same starting point when born, and are entitled to the same respect.

Who does the emotional loading around here? Certainly not me. Though some people certainly do get emotional when you threaten their notions with facts.

It's never been about skin color, as skin color is only skin deep so to say What is important are the genetically based behavioral differences between groups. These are not minor percentage point differences, they put half the populations of these countries in the mentally retarded category, and nearly all the rest in the mentally slow category. Only around 5% of the population would fall into the normal range of 90-110 IQ. Then there is the propensity for violence and crime which is nearly six times that of White folk.

There really is only so much logic humans can take in general. All have fallen short of the greater glory of the sliderule. The best place to be when TSHTF was the real point of my opener, maybe if you could envision you are on a global version of the Titanic? (Reality) Nothing can be done for unfortunates at the other end of the IQ(Cultural or Genetic or both) scale when the big disaster strikes. These places will quickly empty of people as idiot choices lead to mass starvation/warfare and a return to primitive religion involving human sacrifice of those smart enough to not fit in.

Is it a coincidence that the highest scoring nations have a pronounced tradition of rote learning and deference to chains of authority? If so, it may just explain why they score so well on paper-based IQ tests. At the same time it is no indication of their competence in regard to solving real-world problems on an individual basis. Unless I misunderstood him, FBM alluded to this line of thinking here:

Over here they have a standardized English test, TOEIC (Test of English in International Communication). I had a student who made a perfect score in it twice. Couldn't have a conversation with him much beyond how the weather is without him breaking out in a sweat.

I think there is probably a lot of truth in that, a very intense education indeed, at least in the heavily urbanised asian countries. I have read reports that they're trying to free it up a bit, and put more emphasis on problem solving.
