Yes, but there is no real help being offered. It's like ...people think that coming over to hold the baby is 'helping' -- nope. Helping is fixing some food, or throwing in a load of laundry or cleaning up around the house.

The inlaws came over and sat around, and made it more difficult for us. thanks. thanks a lot...lol

We were lucky in that both sets of in-laws came and gave practical help rather than baby help - and neither set interfered intrusively on that score. In fact when they were babysitting, they'd usually ask how we did particular things, rather than impose their own methodology.
