Man Sues Wife Over “Ugly” Baby, Wins $120,000 Judgment.

Post by JacksSmirkingRevenge » Mon Mar 18, 2013 3:38 pm

http://agendabeijing.com/ugly-baby-lead ... r-divorce/
A northern Chinese man named Jian Feng fell madly in love with a pretty young thing, but his love was put to the test the day his wife gave birth to their daughter. Feng was surprised that the baby was – well – probably the ugliest child he’s ever laid eyes on. Since he was obviously incapable of producing unattractive children, he blamed her for infidelity. But when the DNA tests showed he was the father, he started to dig a little deeper into his wife’s past.
According to Planet Ivy, behind his wife’s gorgeous face was a dark secret. She spent $100,000 on reconstructive surgery that transformed her from Ugly Betty to Zhang Ziyi before meeting her husband. When he found out his wife was hit one too many times with the ugly stick in her former life, he hit the road and filed for divorce. To add insult to injury, he sued her for $120,000 for marrying him under false pretenses.

Believe it or not, Feng won the case. Where else in the world can a man rightfully divorce his ugly wife, and abandon a child with a face that literally only a mother could love?

It smells like an urban legend, but China seems to be able to produce genuine cases in just about every conceivable category of weirdness, and a few you'd never even think of.

Oh, and where on earth did she get the money from?

Oh give it a couple of weeks Hades, I'm sure something else will emerge that will make that sound like a lovely romantic story.

Audley, I'm feeling ignorant for asking, but... is your avatar a celebrity? Is it you? (I don't want to imply the two are mutually exclusive.)

It's a character from the film version of The Shining, I think.

This isn't the first time this has happened either. I think there was a similar case in Brazil a few years back that involved wife's secret nose job and a big nose baby.
A rational skeptic should be able to discuss and debate anything, no matter how much they may personally disagree with that point of view. Discussing a subject is not agreeing with it, but understanding it.

I like her better in the before pic.
People think "queue" is just "q" followed by 4 silent letters.

But those letters are not silent.

They're just waiting their turn.
