Did you know that the War Of The Bavarian Succession was known, by the troops at least, as the Potato War? I don't know if any wars have been fought over cheese.

Bacon is clearly the one true vegetable of peace.

Not sure, Constantine saw 2 crossed rashers of bacon in the sky before the battle of the Milvian Bridge.

Curley fries at Arby's is gooder.
Problem: not a single Arby's in Korea.
I'm not seeing this as a problem...
Arby's good.

Top 10 Poisonous Foods We Love To Eat

1 Potatoes

Potatoes have appeared in our history books since their introduction to Europe in the 16th century. Unfortunately they appear largely due to crop failure and severe famine, but they will be forever the central vegetable of most western families daily diet. Potatoes (like tomatoes) contain poison in the stems and leaves – and even in the potato itself if left to turn green (the green is due to a high concentration of the glycoalkaloid poison). Potato poisoning is rare, but it does happen from time to time. Death normally comes after a period of weakness and confusion, followed by a coma. The majority of cases of death by potato in the last fifty years in the USA have been the result of eating green potatoes or drinking potato leaf tea.

"Fast food", more properly. The temptation to have a quick bite rather than a real meal is the downfall, wherever that meal comes from.

I've been in a McD's twice in the past two years, both times to get emergency coffee.

I never go to McD's when I'm stateside, but when I'm over here I think, 'Wow. That's so exotic!' I used to hate, hate, hate coleslaw until the first KFC opened up in this city. I tried it because I couldn't bear to throw it away. Damn. Turned out to be good. Coleslaw. Who'd a thunk? :food:
