Buy high and sell low or something.

Do animals eat straw and who can tell the difference between hay and straw. :ask:

Straw is standard bedding. No bid deal that I've ever heard of.

Hay is a mixture of various grasses, timothy, clover (sometimes), and some other shit. Straw is mainly made from the stalks left standing after the heads of wheat are harvested off them. Straw has next to zero nutritional value and is almost invariably yellow in colour (hay is green).
Hay is feed, straw is bedding. A bale of straw is also about half the weight as the same sized bale of hay.

Why do you ask?

Hay is made of edible grasses, like alfalfa. Straw is the stems of wheat and plants like that. No real nutritional value.

Yes I know, I would be an even shittier biologist than I am now if I didn't or even know how to use google. I was trying to deflect criticism of the article which now seems to have been amended. I certainly hope you didn't also take my financial advice just as seriously. :ab:
