The thing is, Seth's warnings about marxism would make sense, and actually be valuable, if there were any serious chance of truly marxist policies being implemented in other than tiny enclaves. Marxism in the past has inevitably lead to totalitarian dictatorships, and would again in the future if implemented as its true political philosophy implies.
However, he does his cause a disservice by "crying wolf", and implying some form of creeping marxism to the most banal activities of social democracies the world over...
