Not one of his best. Kinda sucked, actually, IMHO.
Yeah, had its moments and visually cool but nothing special apart from that.
I'm trying to think what my favorites are.

I think Edward Scissorhands was groundbreaking. His pastel Jordan almonds suburbs, that was such a great image. And the story was so unusual. But I don't usually re-watch it if it's on.

Beetlejuice I could watch a gajillion times and never get tired of it (I know, because I have) It's got it all-- quirky paranormal monsters, goofy humor, Winona Ryder in her teens...

I think his Sweeney Todd was actually really good. Better than I thought it would be. And it's such a great musical. Good cast, good fit all around.

I loved Big Fish. It made me happy and sad. I don't care what everyone says.

Oh, and you can't have a list like this without Nightmare Before Christmas.

But if I had to make this a top five... I think I'd ditch either the first or the last on this list and trade in Mars Attacks. Tom Jones! Eagles! Gah gah gah gahhhhh!

Mars Attacks was very funny and I cried at the end.
People think "queue" is just "q" followed by 4 silent letters.

But those letters are not silent.

They're just waiting their turn.

Tim Burton hasn't made anything good in such a long time I've forgotten what good Tim Burton even looks like.

Well, except the recent Frankenweenie which was much more awesome than its average scores.

I just realised this is an old thread. I recently saw the Alice film, it was on TV on Christmas day. It was god-awful. The special effects were dire, I don't know where people are getting off saying they were great. They were far too computery looking and dull and not like Burton at all.

There was a vampire film he released since this thread started too. I forget the name. It seemed a love it or hate it type film.

The Abe Lincoln vampire slayer movie. I'm intrigues, because it sounds so awful.

I don't think he made that. No some Johnny Depp thing.

Directed by Timur Bekmambetov, and co-produced by Timur and Tim Burton. It was lots of fun. I liked it. But then again I love everything Timur does.

Ah! I knew he was involved. Saw an interview with him talking about how blah di blah the film was.

Ouch, he made that pile of crap movie? I guess every genius has an off day.
A rational skeptic should be able to discuss and debate anything, no matter how much they may personally disagree with that point of view. Discussing a subject is not agreeing with it, but understanding it.

Mars Attacks is a parody. It was based on a series of bubble gum cards.
