Year of the Snake?
How will it effect China? there isn't much question a snake is a snake.
What will the world be like after its ruler is removed?

It's actually the year of the water snake, because a five-year cycle, corresponding to the five elements, is superimposed on the usual 12-year cycle of the Chinese menagerie. The full cycle therefore takes 60 years to complete.
