Guns don't kill people, California cops do !

The "highly-trained" gun-totin LAPD have tried to kill three people who's cars looked like the one belonging to a fugitive.
Thus disproving the old NRA claim that people just need better training to handle guns safely.

In their hunt for Christopher Dorner, ( also a "highly-trained LAPD cop " until recently ) they have so far shot at three innocent people, injuring two.

Dorner has gone off the rails, and killed some people, and threatened to kill more.
He must be loving it that the frenzied LAPD are helping him out so enthusiastically.

It's all down to a lack of guns !!!

They're obviously scared shitless of Dorner. The point MM makes still stands though - if highly trained police officers crack under stress like this and shoot innocents, how would private citizens perform?

Seth thinks this is proof positive of his philosophy that everyone should wear body armour and carry AR-15s. I can only imagine the havoc and death toll that would result.

I still don't get how they were shot mistakenly. More details are needed. The news reports I have seen have been sketchy. What did they do? Just shoot up the truck?

Apparently 2 LAPD were protecting a police captain's house when the newspaper carriers stopped on their rounds in a similar vehicle to that of Dorner.

It's clear that the general public is in more danger from the LAPD than they are from a crazy killer.

If it weren't for the publicity surrounding this case, this little shooting would have got very little publicity.
It makes you wonder just how many of police killings are actually just similar wanton shootings by dumb cops.

Anyway, it's equally obvious that the public should be more scared of legal guns than criminal ones.
