Interesting to note that, at least according to what I just read in the Indy, that he wants evolution to be routinely taught in junior schools. I'd support that, if nothing else.

Back then if you were 'well to do' you got into University and got the top jobs. He wanted that system to come back in my view - that's the only way one can interpret it. Excellence for the few and nothing much at all for the rest.
