If it keeps going the way it is, you'll be able to name all the yes voters.
The polls show a steady and significant drain away of support. If you were attracting more voters, then you might not have to PRETEND that it's going well.
The polls are pretty static, actually. The change in the polls in the last few months have been quite interesting - the yes has been static, the no has gone down, and the dont knows have gone up. The dont knows were always going to be the key ... how will they vote now that there is a simple yes/no question, independence or the status quo? But roughly, the polls have stayed the same.

Maintaining membership of EU is about continuity, not scaring the horses, and makes perfect sense when you realise that it's current EU citizens who live here who are able to vote as well as UK citizens. Incidentally, you appear to be arguing all 27 members of the EU are NOT independent countries, including UK.

Try telling them that.

Latest poll this weekend, from Angus Reid, uses the new question wording and shows the following:

Should Scotland be an independent country?

Yes 32% (-)
No 47% (-3)

Similar to recent TNS-BMRB poll which showed Yes level, but no dropping and undecided rising.

Only three in ten say yes? WTF ? You must be so pleased.

I have a real suspicion that Alex will pull it, and try to blame Westminster.

Or is the question biased?
Perhaps it should be aye, or noooo.

That's it, that's the problem !!

One day you will realise that you're too fuck-witted to contribute to this discussion.

Yep, I know. I'm an eternal optimist.

You're Tyrannical, but with Scots. If you can't understand that, then you're also stupid.

Imagine that form containing low-brow African American responses... and that Tyrannical had posted it. Then take an empathy pill, if you still can't see the connection to bigoted-you.

You are the worst kind of 'patriot' and also worst kind of forum member. You escalate from a gentle jibe to tearing someone's throat out in one step. It is a trait that has been commented upon.

The general thuggishness of the cyber-gnats bodes ill for an independent Scotland.

Staff would like to remind everyone to please refrain from attacking other members and focus on ideas instead. Thankee.

I'm not a patriot. I'm just not a bigot... and I see that you don't own an empathy pill. Why did you move to Carlisle, if you're so anti-Scot? It's like a Francophobe moving to Dover and complaining about the French. It is a trait that has been commented upon.

But your fellow bigot came along to hold your hand. Bless.

Well I'm not anti scot. I'm anti scot gnat.

Just like I'm anti welsh gnat or english gnat. And just like the english gnats, you come across as paranoid and humourless.
Why the fuck would anyone want to vote for that?

But at least you don't pretend it's just about local being more efficient, like that bollocks ron tries to feed the world.
You stay paranoid and proud of your lump of stone. It may not be too balanced, but least you're honest.
