I don't see a complete disintegration but a temporary partial one to teach the provinces who is boss might happen. This is a small island not a entire continent after all. And we all speak the same language except in Northern Wales and who cares about what they shag in the hills?
What will the world be like after its ruler is removed?

Nothing. I do like their game hen as a tasty dish. I think the tall man from Cornwall should be able to lead you all to independence, what with his great big Cornish head and all.

Same language? I think there are some places in Liverpool that might not conform to that assertion.
