do you really need to respond to that? Objective "truth"? Coming from seth no less?
Our struggle is not against actual corrupt individuals, but against those in power in general, against their authority, against the global order and the ideological mystification which sustains it.

Objective truth from Seth?! When he stops thinking that the Marxists!!!! are after him and the children then maybe then he might have a grip on reality and objective truth.

Hell he might do well to find out what Marxism is instead of the boogie monster that hides under the bed.

When all Marxists are dead, then I'll stop worrying about Marxist influences and machinations.

I say that because I know EXACTLY what Marxism is, and what it has planned for us all, and it is utterly and irredeemably evil and I will fight it to my dying breath.

They don't seem so bad to me. I liked their movies. Groucho was very funny of course, but my favorite was actually Harpo.
People think "queue" is just "q" followed by 4 silent letters.

But those letters are not silent.

They're just waiting their turn.

Marxism, in any strict usage of the word, is currently a discredited political and economic policy that is only viewed as a real solution by a minority of delusional dreamers. The funeral has already been held, time to move on... None of which precludes reasoned criticism of the excesses of capitalism, or (for example) recognising the great value to working people of the union movement...

Seth, on the other hand, thinks that the majority of straightforward liberal and social democrat policies are examples of Marxism.

Another delusion, from a member of another tiny, extremist minority...

The problem with most Marxists is that they don't even know they are Marxists. They are the Marxist "useful idiots" to whom Marx referred. They are incapable of understanding that you can't be a "little bit Marxist" any more than you can be a "little bit pregnant."

The core principle of Marxism is that the individual owes a debt of labor to the collective merely because he exists, and that the collective gets to determine what he owes and then take it from him.

There are no half measures in Marxism, which encompasses every variety and flavor of Socialism and Communism, which all flow from that fundamental precept that the individual is not free, but is a chattel of the State who owes allegiance and labor to the collective "according to his ability" while the State doles out the fruits of his labor to others "according to their need."

Once a society has crossed the line from respecting the individual as a sovereign individual who owes to the State only that which he chooses to give or compensation for that which he consumes and that society founds itself on the principle that the Collective is supreme and the individual is but a disposable cog in the great machinery of the State, it has become a Marxist state. All the obfuscation and pettifoggery in the world cannot change that fact because Marxism and liberty are incompatible. Completely incompatible.

A man either owns himself and the product of his labor or he is owned by someone else and they own the product of his labor.

A free man owns himself and his labor. A slave is owned by the State and his labor is the State's to dispose of.

There is no in between or melding of the two philosophies. They are diametrically opposed and utterly incompatible. It's one or the other.

Therefore, all socialist social models, bar none, which presume control over the labor and property of the individual as a matter of collective right are Marxist regimes and should be labeled as such.

This is because Marxism's favorite pastime is relabeling. Marxists will take any label that goes out of public fashion and change the name without changing the philosophy and then will try to sell the repackaged Marxism to the credulous lumpen proletariat.

But it's still Marxism and always will be. So, I call it what it is when I see it. Marxists hate that because their dialectic and plan counts on being able to hornswoggle and deceive the credulous proletarian into thinking that it's something else, something it's not, all the while carefully preparing for resurgence of full-fleged Marxism and a march towards the ultimate goal of global, universal Communism.

Only Marxist useful idiots can't see socialism in every iteration for what it actually is: Marxism lying in wait like a croc under the surface, with only it's eyeballs protruding to be seen, but waiting patiently to lunge out of the water and devour the world.

Your whole first paragraph is a delusion. Marxism is alive and well, and will be for a long time to come. What is in it's death throes is neo-liberalism.
