I don't mind a personal interpretation of history. His is hardly extreme - pretty hum drum really. The worst thing about his film (well I only watched the first) was his narration. You would think such an experienced film maker would know his voice - intonation, tone, clarity and mood, were simply not up to the job of making it remotely interesting.
