Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: The Woodcutter: A Novel (Hardcover)
The book is wordy. I can follow most of the typical English colloquialisms. But I could do with a bit less description of Cumbria, or Wales. Leave that to the movie version. The protagonist Wolf brings to mind a determined Sean Connery type of character.

I think I was able to finish the book as I had nothing else to read on the Kindle and it went with me during the holidays. It was not bad, but the plot gets a little crazier. But if you are just looking for a mystery, this is a bit more of a psychological thriller. But all in all, it was bit too Hollywood for me. Only the local scenery and characters were better than Hollywood.
