David Gregory committed a crime live on television by possessing a 30 round magazine in Washington DC.

The law in Washington DC is that it is a criminal offense punishable by a fine of up to 1000$ and a jail term of up to 1 year to possess a large capacity (more than ten rounds) ammunition feeding device, whether loaded or unloaded, whether attached to a firearm or not.
