- creationism is not true. And what's more, you can have faith and still understand science. They work together, they really do.
A-fucking-men and not to mention think its still awesome.

The Pope was today knocked down at the start of Christmas mass by a woman who hopped over the barriers. The woman was said to be, "Mentally unstable."Trolldor wrote:Ahh cardinal Pell. He's like a monkey after a lobotomy and three lines of cocaine.
Which is probably why she went unnoticed among a crowd of Christians.

Whatever floats your boat, Noah.

Re: 4 Dangerously Influential Dimwits
Who are you to say God didn't instruct Noah to freeze two eggs and a batch of sperm from every animal on earth, then fertilize them and gestate them in his anus after the flood waters receded and then God erased all evidence of a global flood to confound the infidels?

Yup and there nothing in what has being discovered by science that says that god could not of put the conditions and things necessary in place for evolution to happen as we knew it. The book of genesis is a story written by people of whom had limited knowledge and essentially had come up with a narrative so to make sense of the world something of which we continue to do to this day.JimC wrote:Compared to creationism, it is quite a rational position.redunderthebed wrote:Funny charles darwin said "that one can be a ardent theist and a evolutionist"Gawdzilla Sama wrote:Whatever floats your boat, Noah.

However, I need to make it perfectly clear that, although rational in comparison to creationism, the moderate god hypothesis (even a "hands off" god) is completely and utterly unnecessary to explain the universe we observe, and is not needed to allow a moral sense in humans either...redunderthebed wrote:Yup and there nothing in what has being discovered by science that says that god could not of put the conditions and things necessary in place for evolution to happen as we knew it. I actually agree its just that i've come to the conclusion about the universe and i believe that god helps me to have a better moral sense than i once did.JimC wrote:However, I need to make it perfectly clear that, although rational in comparison to creationism, the moderate god hypothesis (even a "hands off" god) is completely and utterly unnecessary to explain the universe we observe, and is not needed to allow a moral sense in humans either...redunderthebed wrote:Yup and there nothing in what has being discovered by science that says that god could not of put the conditions and things necessary in place for evolution to happen as we knew it.
