If abortion and contraception were unlawful and unavailable, women would take greater care to educate themselves and control their sexual behavior. At least that's the observed behavior of the female of the species PRIOR to the invention of "The Pill." Sure, women got pregnant because they had sex when they shouldn't have done so, but not nearly at the rate they do now BECAUSE contraceptives and abortions are lawful.

Now, I don't have a problem at all with contraceptives, it's up to the individual to decide whether to use them or not, but paying for them is not my problem or obligation as a taxpayer.

Fuck all you like, use all the condoms and pills you like, but do not expect me, or anyone else, to fork over tax money to pay for it, pay for it yourself.

I really don't see why this is such a controversial stance.

LOL at the troll and the logic fail. Poor Seth still believes then when he pays his taxes over they still belong to him. Stick to your basement, Seth, too much reality only upsets you.
All rights have to be voted on. That's how they become rights.

Yeah, let the babies die. That will teach the teenaged parents to be more careful in the future. Don't bother teaching them what to be careful about or how to be careful.
They already know about safe-sex. The problem is they also know how getting pregnant can set them up with free housing and benefits to live off of, and more kids equals a bigger check. What was once a safety net to catch the truly down on their luck is now just a trampoline that they take advantage of.
Dumbass. The primary cause of teen pregnancy is lack of education regarding contraception and conception. Go back to your Klan rally.

Thieves steal all the time, and the biggest ones do so with the imprimature of government. That doesn't mean I'm not entitled to object to it when they do it.

Or he could hole up in some isolated farm-house, bristling with guns, and challenge the feds to take him alive.

That always ends well... :tea:

Because I believe in paying my fair share of the services and amenities that government provides, like streets and parks and suchlike. I do not, however, believe in government taking my money and labor so it can turn it over to someone else without my consent. If I want to support a person in need, I'll do so myself, thanks...after I've investigated the person and their story to make sure that they are entitled to the fruits of my labor and my charity.

So, you'd vet every single welfare recipient and pass judgment on then. How patricians of you, Sr. Barca.

In the spirit of this quote, I'd like to do a little investigating of you Seth. I believe you were a police officer for 20 years or more. Am I correct? As a police officer you would have been responsible in upholding laws that support the system you now claim to abhor. My question is when did you develop your current stance?

No, I'd pick for myself those people I choose to assist with my labor and property. Everybody else can do the same. If someone wants my help, they can politely ask me for it, and if I deem them worthy of my labor and property, then I'll decide how much and on what terms I will assist them.

I am a better judge of how my labor and capital are spent than the bureaucrats and redistributionists in Washington are.

No, it wasn't an attack. I'm investigating to discover if you are entitled to the fruits of my labour and my charity (bothering to engage with you specifically). :tea:
