I think dad needs to take his kids to the zoo more often, or a farm. At least show more nature documentaries at home. I grew up on a farm and I can't remember being shocked by the fact that girls/women don't have schlongs.

I imagine the "two udders" bit was confusing, though.

Funny this appeared when it did. Last weekend in Aberdeen, I was in the gents, and there was a small girl waiting for her dad. She stood near the door, but was covering her eyes so she couldn't see what was going on around her.

As for myself, taking one's small daughter into the gents (either because she needs to go, or because you need to go) when there's no accompanying female adult is not something I've ever worried about, and why should I? Mind you, we've always had an 'open door' policy at home, so there would be no surprises on that front. I wouldn't hold her hand at a urinal though - way too much chance of splashback. (She's old enough to take herself into the ladies now.)

Taking her into the ladies myself may have raised some eyebrows though.

When I first got to Korea, I was shocked when women would walk by while I was taking a whizz. Then I realized what a prude I was and got over it. Dregs of a xtian upbringing, I suppose.

We used to piss off the stern of the boat, and I remember one gal coming very close to check out one of the black guys. He was ... impressively hung. I thought she was going to fall out of her boat staring. It was rather funny and he made an effort to give it a few extra shakes for her benefit.

We are in danger of creating a new kind of puritanism in my view (we may already have done so) based actually on the sexualisation of childhood and much of society. Nudity and bodily functions were not seen as sexually provocative or 'rsiky' in some sexual way only a couple of generations ago. None sexual nudity was a lot more common too.
