These guys are nuts, but is there a clear agenda, other than the tin hat libertarian one? Who pays for it?

serious crimes:
On September 8, 2007, he was arrested while protesting at 6th Avenue and 48th Street in New York City. He was charged with operating a bullhorn without a permit. Two others were also cited for disorderly conduct when his group crashed a live television show featuring Geraldo Rivera. In an article, one of Jones's fellow protesters said "It was ... guerilla information warfare."

I've never quite understood some of these wacky conspiracy theories.
A rational skeptic should be able to discuss and debate anything, no matter how much they may personally disagree with that point of view. Discussing a subject is not agreeing with it, but understanding it.

Jones was known for crashing public meetings in Austin - city council, school board, county commissioners. He got his start on public access TV in Austin. He's tapping into a sizable demographic that is defined by ignorance and fear, just like a clergyman. He's also making a lot of money off of them. The more conspiracies he promotes, the bigger his audience, the more stuff he can sell. It doesn't matter any more how absurd, there's always a few idiots for every conspiracy theory.
