I haven't seen or heard a good argument from the anti-gun camp yet.

I posted a summary this morning, which has not been debunked. The problem is that the statistics are entirely on the side of the group, to which I belong, who claim that hand guns do a great deal of harm and little good. 20,000 killed each year and a further 80,000 maimed is a very strong argument against their use.

Admittedly my argument carries little weight with those people who do not care about other people being hurt and dying. It carries weight only with people who actually care.

Perhaps Kristie should understand that we don't find the subject to be humorous. It's deadly serious, and if the Blue Helmets deploy to the US to take away guns, it's my clear understanding from people who are prepared to act that that moment is the beginning of the 2nd American Revolution, and there will be many dead Blue Helmets...among others.

The sentiment Gallstones posted is not terribly smart. The UN treaty has nothing to do with guns inside the USA. It is a method of controlling international trade in weapons to stop them getting into the hands of terrorists and criminals.
