Who owns the centre of the Earth? Is it the country nearest? If the Earth is a Oblate Spheroid which is closest?
What will the world be like after its ruler is removed?

Trouble is it is moving all the time. A mass of molten iron whiling around in massive freaky convection currents! So if you own one bit of it one minute its a dozen miles away the next!
