I only sort-of smoke, really, but my cholesterol is 280. BP and other stuff is good.

But anyway, we disagree about something on the internet and we're being WAAY too nice to each other!!!

As I told you many times, there are no "rights". There are only privileges such as the government chooses to grant to you, and which they are quite capable of taking away also.

The American thing about the possession of tools for murder being a 'natural' human right is, and remains ludicrous. Nor is it part of the United Nations Declaration of Human Rights, which is the most credible such document. It is merely a bizarre artifact of American history, which idiots take literally.

The only imagining here is yours by regarding that right as something less than a Right.

I have no problem with disagreements. Even Seth, in his own weird way is highly entertaining. However, I still think it is good to be able to disagree and still be nice and operate with mutual respect.

Why isn't Blind groper ever given a warning for his behavior? He makes serial personal attacks on Seth and American gun enthusiasts as a matter of course.

Could you please report what you believe are personal attacks on another member? The staff can discuss, then.

My own observations are, that people who resort to this kind of insult as a tactic, are people who have no valid argument at all.

Add to that.
It is impossible to insult someone against their will. I also believe that the only people who can insult me are those I respect. So I am quite safe here.
Then you must have no valid argument at all as you are quite facile with the insults.

Please.

I'm going to start at page one of this thread and report each and every one.

That is quite correct. However, I respect FBM and I do not respect Seth. In that, I am just being honest. I also see a strong likelihood that Seth is, in fact, a psychopath. In saying that, I am not trying to be insulting, any more than I am being insulting if I call another person a red head because of the colour of their hair. Seth has shown symptoms of psychopathy in his posts. I have pointed this out in an honest way.

On the other hand, Gallstones, you have disagreed with me with vehemence, but I would not accuse you of being a psychopath, because you have not shown those signs. The fact that you disagree with me, even strongly, is not sufficient.

:dis: Just my opinion, but I see the ability to agree to disagree and carry on peacefully, with mutual respect as a sign of emotional and intellectual maturity. Not meaning that as an insult to anyone who sees it differently, it's just my point of view. Sometimes I slip, though. Still working on the buddhahood thing.

Yeah. I got kicked out of buddha school for over-enthusiasm.

I left it after a year out of lack of enthusiasm for the woo that they were peddling alongside the legit dhamma.

[quote="Gallstones"]Fuck the United Nations. On our soil our Constitution is the law.

Yup, fuck the United Nations.

No matter what resolutions they pass, they're still a toothless organization of nothing but hot air that holds no sway over the United States Constitution. It's not like they can force us to comply. Who would apply that force? The same people who stood around in their pretty blue helmets and watched genocide happen right in front of them in Rwanda?

Being free means being able to say 'No.' and back it up with force.

Being free wrong means being able to say 'No.' Fuck the evidence and back it up the wrongness with force.
