Which is why I always objected to the death penalty.
If there was any way of being CERTAIN of guilt, I probably wouldn't have any objection.

My best solution to uncertainty is, the Jury can vote for death, and the Judge can decide to impose it.

BUT, if it later turns out that the defendant was innocent, the Judge, and the jury members who voted for the death penalty, have to be executed.

I think then, the concept of reasonable doubt would be taken seriously. VERY seriously.
While there is a market for shit, there will be assholes to supply it.
