Gotta check that out.

Re: Election Day, USA!
Romney finally called Obama to concede. Awesome.
I'm tired and my bed is calling...
EDIT: looks like Romney's losing the popular vote after all. Results not final for a while though.

Never mind.. CNN.. I hate CNN.

Re: Election Day, USA!
Well a decent concession speech from Romney and an appeal for bi-partisanship - too bad his party doesn't concur.

Decent speech from Romney, I must say. Good rhetoric about bipartisanship. I sincerely hope his Party of No takes heed and decides that compromise does not have to be taboo. But I'm cynical after the last few years.

Ah.. he's so cute. Praying for Obama and 'the nation'. God bless you too fucktard loser.

Empty rhetoric. Republics claim they're trying to be bipartisan but the dems aren't playing ball.Ian wrote:Decent speech from Romney, I must say. Good rhetoric about bipartisanship. Indeed - said the same thing in the other thread. They need to boot the fringers like Rove and Trump.
That they lost Nancy Eisnenhower last election was telling. Trim the crazies or go into a long slow spiral to irrelevance.

Utter nonsense. Bush's signature legislative achievements (tax cuts, authorization for Iraq, NCLB, etc.) all had fair amounts of support from Democrats in Congress. COntrast that with Republicans during the Obama years, and it's clear who are the stonewallers.PordFrefect wrote:Empty rhetoric. Politics is about what works, not about what some armchair quarterback with a fistful of PBR thinks should happen. I have no problem with negative campaigns or refusing to compromise as long as it gets them what they want.
If you don't like reality then perhaps there is another universe more to your liking, albeit one likely to be experiencing bedspins later tonight.

I think you misunderstood me. I agree with you. I was just saying Mitt's rhetoric was empty. Just fodder for Republicans to keep on saying "we're trying".Ian wrote:Utter nonsense. Looks like Nate Silver called the outcomes of all 50 states this time.
