We all know that she wants to have his baby. It's a good choice for her, actually. Instead of liking some meathead, she has a thing for a critter with a penis and a brain. Shows she has taste. Good for her.

Anyways, I think it's cool that he used that term. It kind of melts away the image of him as stodgy and prim, and it gives a good kick to the language taboos.

During some conference or debate, and to the great amusement of the audience, Dawkins quoted the principle with which a former editor of New Scientist ran the magazine, which was: "Science is interesting, and if you don't agree you can fuck off." There's a youtube type clip of it around.

Also, Mary Riddell interviewed Dawkins for the New Statesman in 1999. She reports:

I would have left under the impression that having abstruse tracts read aloud to him was the extent of his hinterland, except that this pastime sounds so worthy that I ask again what he does for fun.

And he says: "Well, there's nothing very obvious. I daren't give Horace de Vere Cole, the famous hoaxer's, version. When asked for his recreation in Who's Who in the early part of the century, he wrote down, 'Fucking'. I suppose that's the honest answer."

I just wish that I could have been around, or more ideally - that he could have been born a couple of decades later - so that I could have enjoyed ogling him, and we'd possibly have more pictures and videos of him when he looked like this:

And if he was born a little later, he probably wouldn't have been... hmmm-mumble-mumble... either.

I'd still most certainly hit it, though - and wouldn't even put up too much of a fight if he wanted access to my uterus for the purposes of propagating his genetic material.
