Funnily enough I don't think that Obama and the Tea Party folks are fundamentally that far apart!

Both recognise that something ain't right for the average working Joe with how things have been working out in recent years, if not decades. Of course they differ somewhat on how to fix that :hehe:

Whereas for the Romneys of this world things have been going just peachy :tut: . Credit Crunch especially  .

Most people are unable to identify exactly how they keep getting the shitty end of the stick - but nonetheless they are pretty good at recognising it - whether by touch or smell.......Which don't matter too much when folks know their place or when folks have a route to pass that end of the stick onto others :hehe: ........But it's strange for a country that has so many folks with guns who are wedded to the idea of "freedom" are so willing to roll over and grease up own bumholes for the Romneys to ride them like piggies :tut: .....rather than start shootin' (and rootin' & tootin' :smoke: )......even stranger that the USA has so many Turkeys willing to vote for Xmas :fp: .
Get me to a Nunnery

You didn't hear about it because it's bogus. Romney was head of Bain Capital, not of Bain & Co.
Ha ha, you can't even read what you comment on. The Rollingstone.co article quoted reads
According to the candidate's mythology, Romney took leave of his duties at the private equity firm Bain Capital in 1990 and rode in on a white horse to lead a swift restructuring of Bain & Company, preventing the collapse of the consulting firm where his career began.
It must be hard keeping up, with reading difficulties.
you forgot to say that Mitt then left his new set up Bain Capital to help them.

Mr. Romney rejoined Bain & Company in the early 1990s to help the firm develop and execute a turnaround plan. He led a financial restructuring that included renegotiation of debt held by major creditors and put Bain & Company on the path to lasting growth and success.
then apparently left them AGAIN to return to his Bain Capital.
Mr. Romney left Bain & Company in 1992 to return to Bain Capital.
The reality is they were practically next door to each other and knew exactly what the other was doing.

People think "queue" is just "q" followed by 4 silent letters.

But those letters are not silent.

They're just waiting their turn.

That's what I was pointing out, in a rather rude fashion.
Apologies to Warren, I must have got out of the wrong side of the bed this morning.

Nov. 2: For Romney to Win, State Polls Must Be Statistically Biased
By NATE SILVER
President Obama is now better than a 4-in-5 favorite to win the Electoral College, according to the FiveThirtyEight forecast. His chances of winning it increased to 83.7 percent on Friday, his highest figure since the Denver debate and improved from 80.8 percent on Thursday.
Nov. 2: For Romney to Win, State Polls Must Be Statistically Biased - NYTimes.com
Friday’s polling should make it easy to discern why Mr. Obama has the Electoral College advantage. There were 22 polls of swing states published Friday. Of these, Mr. Obama led in 19 polls, and two showed a tie. Mitt Romney led in just one of the surveys, a Mason-Dixon poll of Florida.

That's okay. I realize that leftists consider a rock music magazine a reliable source, for some reason.

Indeed - the Tea Party wants to help the average working Joe, and Obama has been working to keep eroding his income even more!

Not sure what to make of this, if anything, but there's a story circulating around FB that Romney is being indicted for ethics violations: http://act.watchdog.net/petitions/1818? ... -gsWPjX6J4
"A philosopher is a blind man in a dark room looking for a black cat that isn't there. A theologian is the man who finds it." ~ H. L. Mencken

"We ain't a sharp species. We kill each other over arguments about what happens when you die, then fail to see the fucking irony in that."

"It is useless for the sheep to pass resolutions in favor of vegetarianism while the wolf remains of a different opinion."
