read it? It's humongously bad, but it's Spinrad, and it's on purpose.

If Disney hands Star Wars off to a producer like Jerry Bruckheimer, it could get interesting. Just don't let that fuck who did the LoTR movies anywhere near it.

What, you don't want episodes 7, 8 & 9 to span 3 more-than-full-length movies each?

Someone's already penned the cartoons covering possible future Disneyfication of Star Wars ...

The Tangled Leia with the frying pan is just so fucking funny ... :spray:

:nono:

David Fincher's Star Wars.... I like the sound of that.

Actually, fuck that too.

Give it to Joss Whedon and let him take it back to the roots with a Firefly treatment.

So we can expect some more shit stereotyped aliens, perhaps a character called Waaarti melun of the Gudneegamassa who sells watches on the Streets of Coruscant.

They should have left that twat Luke hanging off the Ariels of Bespin.

So now Disney will rape my inner child instead of George Lucas.

Great.

At least I could put a face to my rapist before. There is no emoticon for what I'm feeling.

I couldn't stomach the cheesecloth slowly becoming less and less transparent, as Han and Luke stare more and more dewy eyedly at each other until they were pissing "No, I love you more" tears at each other, just before they chuck Binks into the one weak point on the Death Star mkII, bringing the whole thing to a schmaltzy and ultimately integrity shredding and ignominious anticlimax. The only relief for our tortured aestheticism at that point would be that we'd barely be able to see anything through the cheesecloth, and we'd have the feeling that, although painful, we'd stood by and witnessed the undignified and tortured death of an old friend.

Episode 7 will be a full live action 100 million dollar musical remake of Caravan of Courage with songs by Justin Beiber and Elton John (if he is not linked with the Jimmy Savile scandal) and will feature a cameo from famous (pick your own) mainstream rap has-been to join in with the "Chief Chirpa Krump." And it will still be better than episodes one two and three.

Disney is a good fit.

Star Wars is a kiddy movie. Nothing wrong with that of course.

I want Harry Potter vs Darth Vader (both naked wrestling in mud).
