What's sad about that thread is that people are arguing with the guy, when he's obviously just having a laugh. I learned quickly there that they don't seem to have much humor outside of the humor forum, so I stay there.

Everything all right here (read-- upper Manhattan). MTA still down, most bridges open to emergency vehicles or doctors and other medical professionals.

Some scaffolding and trees down, caused damage, totalled cars. We still have power, etc.

Very, very glad we don't live in the cooler part of town. It's a mess.

Well, NYC and the Jersey Shore were sure handed a crap sandwich. Anyone care to bet on how much relief money or supplies we get from any other country on the planet? They got priced out of the place by their landlords, almost a year ago.
Now I have to trek down to Jin's if I want good produce.

And, you can't replace someone like Ahn, whose business was really part of the community. He had pics of neighborhood kids up, always a smile for my little one...
