These are the ones I find most useful and what I have installed on my Firefox.

Doesn't all that slow it down a tad? Just use a dictionary/spell checker here.

I guess it must impose some speed penalty, but it's worth it. I can still browse at a good speed, and it gives me lots of security and added control.

The BB code one is worth getting if you use these phpBB forums a lot. Very handy.

I typically run:

A tab enhancement plugin
A tab reload all plugin (because firefox and palemoon crash all the time)
A Youtube downloader (though I now use the standalone YTD Youtube downloader)
A bulk image downloader
Google toolbar, where available

I just run Firebug in Firefox, mostly for when I'm working on a site for myself and I want to see how other people are doing things.

There's a way to download and save YouTubes?

I went silly with add-ons at one stage and almost made the fecking browser unusable so i make a rule unless it is really useful i don't add it.

@amused lolwut? of course there is a way to download youtube's but unless its high quality downloading music from it is shite ditto video.

The Pope was today knocked down at the start of Christmas mass by a woman who hopped over the barriers. The woman was said to be, "Mentally unstable."

Which is probably why she went unnoticed among a crowd of Christians.

None. I'd like an add off: turn the browser sound off so the ads don't immediately play.

I block all ads with a host file. I pretty much get none. Any that slip through as image files (usually on facebook) I just right click in FF on the ad and blacklist that domain. I LOVE surfing ad free!
