Of course it wouldn't be favorable. They already has a shitty record when it comes to women. And, all the astonishing things they say and plan to do are not jokes, they mean them literally.Coito ergo sum wrote:Obama Administration insulting women by suggesting women "lose their virginity" by voting for Obama. http://washingtonexaminer.com/article/2511779 Copies Vladimir Putin advertisement doing the same thing.
Obviously, this demeans women by suggesting by implication that their vote is based on sexual or emotional attachment to the candidate as "the right person." I.e. - vote for whose dick you'd rather have inside you.
This won't be characterized as insulting by Democrats or by the mainstream media, of course, but just think of it this way -- think if Romney or a Republican put out an ad like this, suggesting that women lose their virginity by voting for the GOP candidate. I have a feeling the reaction would not be very favorable.

No no -- it's not the double entendre that's the issue. It's the implication that women vote for who makes them wet. If you think that would be something considered just a joke or that Democrats would need to get a sense of humor if a Republican put out that ad, then you're crazy.Gerald McGrew wrote:Once again, Republicans show they have no sense of humor at all.Coito ergo sum wrote:Obama Administration insulting women by suggesting women "lose their virginity" by voting for Obama. http://washingtonexaminer.com/article/2511779 Copies Vladimir Putin advertisement doing the same thing.

"ZOMG!!! They made a double entendre!!! About sex!!!"
They're probably so upset because it raises the specter of a black man being with young white girls.

I think you're pretty fucking stupid. Romney doesn't have to read the entire article he referred to in order to not be called a liar.Gerald McGrew wrote:Just how fucking stupid do you think everyone here is? Seriously, do you truly think that's a full description of what happened?Coito ergo sum wrote:That's not the choice. The Detroit News Article that factchecked Romney SAID the article Romney referred to was -- and I quote -- "accurate." The announcement was by Fiat, which owns Chrysler, and they said they are evaluating building Jeeps in China, and that is accurate. Nobody has said different.
Christ - you think Obama tells "the full story" anytime he makes a speech? Of course not.
"Full?" Of course not -- because when you reference something in a speech, you don't sit there and give every last detail. What he said was accurate.Gerald McGrew wrote: I want to know before we go any further....are you truly standing by the above as a full and accurate description of this issue?
Now, I want to know before we go any further... do you take the position that Obama always gives the "full and accurate description" of issues he mentions in speeches?
I gave you the courtesy of an answer. Let's see if you're the capon I think you are.

Obviously US made pick ups are most manly. But here is the Jeep Commander:

Guys here buy Leupold hunting optics just because the Chinese parts are assembled in the US.

Well, now we know. Either you're as stupid as you think everyone else is, or you're a total liar.Coito ergo sum wrote:"Full?" Of course not -- because when you reference something in a speech, you don't sit there and give every last detail. What he said was accurate.
You stated, (emphasis mine) " The announcement was by Fiat, which owns Chrysler, and they said they are evaluating building Jeeps in China, and that is accurate. Nobody has said different."
Here's what Romney said on the stump: (emphasis mine) "I saw a story today that one of the great manufacturers in this state Jeep — now owned by the Italians — is thinking of moving all production to China"
So are you a liar, or just really fucking stupid?
If you don't like being called "stupid", then stop saying stupid things.

So, I'll vote for who I think will do a better job. I'll vote for who is the most honest and genuinely cares about America. I'll vote for who I have the most common with as far as political views.

A Jeep like that is a soccer mom mobile.

You honestly think that is an overcompensation vehicle?
I mean, if you said a Hummer or a Corvette, sure...but, a Jeep Commander? It's just a fat Cherokee. That's like saying a Ford Explorer or a Ford Expedition is driven by guys who want people think they have big dicks.
What country are you from? I think you don't understand what is on the roads here in the US. SUVs like that are a dime a dozen, and everyone and her sister drives them.

David Brooks (conservative) says Obama is "a bit more likely to win". Princeton's analysis says otherwise...
http://election.princeton.edu/2012/10/2 ... id-brooks/
http://election.princeton.edu/2012/10/2 ... id-brooks/
This is false – he’s a lot more likely to win. Look at the Princeton Election Consortium’s EV histogram, which tabulates all 2.3 quadrillion possible combinations of states to give a clear snapshot of the race:
In a race today, President Obama would win with about 90% probability. The true probability is even higher, since the Meta-Analysis does not correct for individual pollster errors. We could – but the political blowback from unskewing polls is too large.

Not all of anything is anything. But, knowing the breadbasket of NASCAR is the former states of the Confederacy, it's probably not a bad bet, unless one is going to claim that Southern and Midwestern NASCAR fans are more progressive than the general population in the former Confederate States....Kristie wrote:Not all Nascar fans are racist.Coito ergo sum wrote:Ian wrote:
