This is a lethal political combination, because all his successes are fondly noted, and all his failures are greeted with a "good old Boris".

This is very true, backed up by the fact that most people I know, despite his politics, think that he would be a fucking riot to go out on the piss with....

Well, he'd be less harmful supporting pubs than he's doing in westminster.

I think the executions certainly would be.
I would devise a tv panel game, with the whole cabinet begging for mercy, against each other.
They would then have to vote who gets executed, with Anne Robinson saying, " goodbye, you are the weakest creep. Then they do the same in the next round.
In the end, just one survives.
I know, it's a bit unethical, (letting one survive, that is).
But it would improve the quality of the begging.
As long as that appalling Robinson is up for the chop too.

He is probably the politician most like Winston Churchill in the history of British parliamentary politics, other than the bulldog himself.
+1
A career dedicated solely to the greater glory of self.
But Boris woud not only have got through Bicycle Gate unscathed - likely by saying "Yes, I called him a Pleb" and "It was meant as a compliment"

Boris is, in fact, a genius. He has created the myth of being a bumbling bumptious well-meaning toff, who is one of the boys, a laugh, rough round the edges, educated - but in a fun way.

He has the most enjoyable list of quotations of any politician. Try as you might, you just can't take the man seriously.
