I had no idea some of those were Britishisms. "Autumn", for instance, has always been fairly common here, used alternately and interchangeably with "Fall." Much the same way "dresser" and "bureau" are used here, and also "cupboard" and "cabinet."

Yesterday I informed my co-worker, who has a British wife, that the Brits refer to sprinkles as hundred & thousands. He looked dumbfounded for a second, then told me that he was going to go home and beat his wife just for that.
