Hmmm. For preserving peace in Europe for the last 60 years. I'd have given it to the Soviet Union. It was only the threat of overwhelming external force that got the Euro Trash to stop squabbling.

It started with Obama getting the peace price, and now the EU!?? What the actual fuck. This clown Jagland needs to have his balls cut off, and we should leave the responsibility for handing out the peace price to the Swedes. They do a nice job with the other Nobel prices, and we have fucked this up so bad we don't deserve to have anything to do with it.

I regretfully agree with every word.

Maybe this year's prize is just another way of saying they couldn't think of anyone who really deserved it? :dunno:

Europhobes (and xenophobes) will be annoyed by this award. Europhiles will be pleased* about the recognition of the EU, as it has served as one of the key components for a wide European inclusivity. I don't have a timeline to hand, but this might be one of the longest periods of peace that Europe has ever seen.
