"Guy Smallman is a London based photojournalist and producer. He has worked all over Europe, South Asia, the Middle East and the ongoing conflict in Afghanistan. His work has appeared in most UK national papers and periodicals. Also on the BBC, Channel 4 and ITV.
In this talk with Guy Smallman we discuss unemployment, drugs, poverty, warlords and government corruption, but it is not all misery, we also talk about the Afghan athletes, cricket, wrestling, bodybuilding and about one of the most successful drug rehabilitation programs in the world, developed and run by Afghans."


I knew Guy in London in the 90's when he was taking photos for Searchlight, an anti fascist publication, helping to organise big Anti Nazi League gigs etc.

He has also made along with someone else a short film which I have not seen yet.
