What most people do not realise is that FSM lives here in New Zealand. He has great taste for both place and for beer. He and I went on quite a bender together in a local pub. I took his photo afterwards, in front of the NZ flag. If he looks a little wooden, it is due to all that beer, and the hangover we shared.

I just heard Richard Dawkins say that several states, including Texas, in the US have laws that disqualify anybody who doesn't believe in a God from public jobs, or political office.

So we should start a new religion, with a god that atheists can publicly state that that they believe in.
My own idea is for a god that takes the form of a giant mass of spaghetti, invisible and undetectable to unbelievers, which orbits the sun between Mars and Jupiter.
He has a band of angels which take the form of pink unicorns, again invisible to the unbelieving dogs, who do his bidding and carry messages.

I would be more than happy to swear to that, as my religion.

But there must be better gods out there. Anybody?
