Cheese lovers Arrested for their beliefs

They believed they'd get away with it. :awesome:
Canada cheese-smuggling ring busted - policeman charged

A Canadian police officer was among three people charged as the country's authorities announced they had busted a major cheese-smuggling ring.

A joint US-Canadian investigation found C$200,000 (£125,600) of cheese and other products were illicitly brought over the border into southern Ontario.

The smugglers sold large quantities of cheese, which is cheaper in the US, to restaurants, it is alleged.

Is there a cheese prohibition on you yanks now? You should come to the UK as we have loads in our shops, it is one of the few benefits of living close to France.
We should be MOST skeptical of ideas we like because we are sufficiently skeptical of ideas that we don't like. Penn Jillette.

I thought we had a free trade agreement - why is there duty to bring U.S. cheese into Canada?

I live right on the border and buy cheese from the US too.

If you buy more than like $500 or something of stuff from the US, the Canadian guv taxes it. That's for private Canadian citizens crossing the border tho. Dunno how it works for businesses.
