Oh yeah, Damian Lewis. And another attractive ginger brit, Kevin McKidd. He did a show called Journeyman at the same time Damian Lewis had one on called "Life".

Brendan Gleeson, who was also in The General done the worst American accent I've ever heard in Green Zone. Not as bad as Colin Farrell in Alexander, though, commanding his fleet with his powerful, Dublin accent :hehe:
Liam Neeson and Pierce Brosnan always just talk the way they always do and don't even try accents and Michael Fassbender's accent slips hilariously into his native Kerry toward the end of X-Men: First Class.
Cillian Murphy and Colm Meany aren't great either. I can't think of an Irish actor who can do accents.

The other night I saw Adelaide Clemens as Valentine Wannop in Parade's End, playing a suffragette.

Turns out she's an Aussie!

Not sure that they should have had Farrell command his fleet in a modern Macedonian accent speaking English though. Who knows how comparable it would be to how Alecander actually spoke...

Plus, Oliver Stone wanted Farrell to stick with his natural accent, so can't blame him for doing as the director told him.

At the time Cruise made "Far and Away" the story did the rounds that he is actually able to do a very good Irish accent, but it didn't work with the focus groups, so they had him ham it up instead.

His accent was so grotesquely bad that it makes Father Jack sound like Stephen Fry, so perhaps there was some truth to it.

Bad Irish accents shake out the thetans.

I know but it still just sounded so wrong.

Saoirse Ronan is supposed to be a gifted mimic but I'm not sure. She seems to be one of those people with an almost neutral accent.
