How often does either party ever get a "filibuster proof" majority in the Senate?

Democrat excuse for fucking up: "although we had a majority in the Senate, we didn't have SUPERmajority, in addition to a majority in the House and the Presidency...we can't be expected to succeed without complete, plenary powers, now can we?"
